Mark Reyes

Mark Reyes is President of Gotham Technical Training Corporation and Gotham Technical Services, and an Authorized OSHA Trainer with decades of experience in Construction & Public Safety Training. Upon completing Electrical training at a vocational school, Mark worked for Cummins Diesel Engine in NC for 6 years. Thereafter, Mark was asked to relocate to Patterson, NY to work as an Electrician on a 20-building construction site where he worked with various aspects of the electrical trade, eventually specializing in HVAC Control & Fire Alarm Systems. He was then transferred to the 16-building facility in Manhattan Heights where he oversaw the Electrical Department, and later, the Systems Maintenance Department. While in Manhattan, he attained his New York City Electrical License. In 2005, Mark started his own business, GTS Electrical Corporation; a 2-person contracting business that has grown to over 30 employees. GTS Electrical is a trusted name in residential, commercial and industrial electrical with completed projects in all 5 boroughs of New York. Meanwhile, for the past 28 years, Mark has dedicated dozens of volunteer hours each month to giving public instructional discourses and as a Safety Representative for various projects. He currently volunteers his time on local places of worship ensuring safety standards are met and workers are trained in OSHA 10 & OSHA 30. Mark is a Licensed NYC Electrician and an Authorized OSHA Trainer, having receiving training from the Atlantic OSHA Training Center at Rutgers University.

Dan Alfonso

Daniel Alfonso had his first exposure working in Construction beside his father, a General Contractor in California. He was later a minority partner in the largest privately held payphone and ATM company in the Northeast where he learned the business from the ground up, not only installing and maintaining this equipment on the streets of NYC, but managing every aspect of the business. Twelve years ago, he began working for GTS Electrical as an electrician, later as a Foreman, and now as its Safety Coordinator. In this position, Dan ensures and promotes a culture of Safety; conducting safety huddles, issuing Job Hazard Analyses and training employees on how to complete specific electrical tasks in a safe manner. Dan's OSHA instruction style reflects his decades of experience in Construction and his deep interest in Health & Safety.

Jalum Benghauser

At a young age, Jalum Benghauser began helping his father in his furniture restoration shop and then later joined him on the construction site doing hardwood floor installation and finishing. With early exposure to the construction site, Jalum was able to gain experience and knowledge about various trades, particularly carpentry, from rough framing to finish carpentry. As a young adult he began to get involved with volunteer construction projects across the northern half of Arizona. Leadership on these projects highlighted the dangers of construction job sites and the culture of working safely together. Beginning in 2017, Jalum moved to New York and started working with GTS Electrical in the electrical field. With nearly 20 years of construction experience in construction throughout the country, Jalum is attune to various construction hazards and is committed to training others to maintain a safe working environment.

Phillip Yagiello

Phillip Yagiello is a skilled tradesman with 20 years’ experience in the Construction industry. Beginning as an electrical apprentice, Philip worked on large-scale Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects in and around New York City. He later became an Electrical Foreman, running crews of 10 electricians on high-end residential buildings, commercial buildings and industrial sites in the five boroughs. Following Super Storm Sandy in 2012, Phillip used his knowledge of construction to assist those affected by the storm. In 2013, Phillip began a 3.5 year volunteer construction project for a Non-Profit organization in Warwick, NY. He assisted with coordination of the construction of a nearly 500,000 square foot building, running crews of up to 30 tradesmen. He also was responsible for coordinating all electrical auto cad shop drawings, as built drawings, and 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) of this project. Phillip became highly attuned to safety throughout these years, learning the detailed safety procedures for all construction tasks as they affected him and his crews including Lockout Tagout, Electrocution, Confined Spaces, Ladder Safety, etc. From his years in his trade, Phillip learned the absolute importance of safety. He is an Authorized OSHA instructor and teaches highly engaging classes focused on instilling safety in all his students. Phillip is an experienced teacher, having given public discourses and trainings to groups of up to 150 people for the past 16 years.
