Who We Are
GTT is owned and operated by Mark Reyes and Chris Papadopoulos, both of Manhattan, NY. Together, they have over 56 years’ experience in delivering educational and instructional public discourses to crowds numbering from 35 to upwards of 8,000; in addition to a combined 60 years’ experience in the Electrical trade. Since 2005, Mark and Chris have owned GTS Electrical; a full-service electrical contracting company serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the New York City area. With this expertise, GTT guarantees top-notch, real-life, hands-on OSHA training to every one of its students.
Distinct from many in our industry, GTT is founded on the belief that Safety is not simply protection from danger. Safety is the respect for one's own life, and the life of others. Safety is understanding that the choices we make each day, no matter how big or small, can affect the well-being of our families, our coworkers, our employers, our neighbors, and ourselves. Besides the emotional toll that follows when safe actions are not chosen, and "accidents" occur, why pursue safety? Numerous studies have shown that organizations with a strong safety culture have higher bottom lines, reduced absenteeism, increased productivity, reduced insurance premiums and less workers' comp claims. GTT instills strong safety values in its audiences and ensures that each student earns their OSHA completion card with the most practical, hands-on training available.
